Before she began writing, Karen Cleveland was a FBI agent and worked for more than eight years as a CIA analyst, as part of which role she regularly wrote briefs for the US president, the last six years being dedicated to counterterrorism.
Karen holds master’s degrees from Trinity College Dublin, where she studied as a Fulbright Scholar, and from Harvard University.
She lives in northern Virginia, U.S., with her husband and their two children.
