Claire Stibbe published Past Rites (The Detective Temeke Crime Series Book 3), a mystery and supsense thriller, in December 2016. She is a British journalist, author, and publisher living in the US. She is also a graduate of the Citizen Police Academy and BSCO Citizen Sheriff’s Academy. The first book in The Detective Temeke Crime Series was a finalist in the New Mexico/Arizona 2016 Book Awards for Fiction-Mystery/Suspense.

Claire Stibbe lives in New Mexico, USA. She has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Cyprus and England, turning her hobby of writing into a career in 2011.

She is a member of: APD Citizen’s Police Academy, Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department CPA, The Alliance of Independent Authors, Southwest Writers, Crime Writers, Historical Novel Society, International Crime Writers Association, Netgalley and The New Mexico Book Co-op.

As a journalist, she writes for StandTrue4Blue, broadcasts on TV and radio.

As an author, her favourite writing genres include Historical Fiction, Psychological Crime Fiction, Thriller, Mystery & Suspense.

Claire has also published an Egyptian fiction series, which was a gold medal recipient at Harper Collins Publishers showcase website, Authonomy. She has written short stories for Breakwater Harbor Books Publishing. The collection won Best Anthology of 2014 in the Independent Book Awards hosted by eFestival of Words. She has written dozens of articles that have been published in business and trade journals, and she often presents at workshops and writers events.

Her crime series, The Detective Temeke Crime Series, is comprised of 3 books to date and is set in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is currently working on the fourth book.

Synopsis:
